Today,
I discovered that there is a phrase that when said to me will cause me
to render myself completely naked in under 5 seconds.
The phrase?
"You have a giant bug on your back."
It
was my roommate who discovered this regrettable trigger within me. The
"giant bug" was only a small grasshopper, but regardless, the phrase
worked its magic and within just a few seconds I was completely naked
(yes, the pants and all undergarments came off as well, lest there be
more "giant bugs" lurking about just waiting for the opportunity to
scamper across my skin and into my hair-and yes, I have nightmares about
that).
I'd
like to apologize to all those in the greater Tempe area today around
5:30pm who might have been blinded by my subsequent instantaneous
backyard nudity.
